Hi Richard D; I lost my washer the first time I disconnected the cable to remove the tank. It was an O ring. The cable did leak oil all over the battery and tool box. I found a washer with a small hole in the center and pushed it over the drive cable, packed it into the holding nut and screwed it down. That was many miles past (about twelve thousand) and I have never had another leak and whenever I take cable off, the washer stays stuck. I should charge Suzuki. Frank M
